MAC's Fluid Lipstick

I tend to gravitate towards colors that are somewhat unique.  Besides the basics like red, pink and brown, and bolder hues like purple and blue, I'm attracted to lipsticks with character.  And when I say character I'm not talking about glitter.  I'm simply saying that I like wearing pretty colors that are far from being standard.   And the more nuanced the color, the better.  Which would explain why my heart was all aflutter when I first laid eyes on MAC's lipstick in Fluid.

Fluid is a yummy metallic plum with subtle violet shimmer.  It applies ever so smoothly, feels moisturizing on the lips and carries MAC's signature vanilla scent, which I happen to like.  

I adore Fluid because it's not too dark and not too light, but just the right hue to rock day or night.  And the color is miles away from being ordinary.  It's playful and sexy and flirty all rolled into one fantastic shade of lipstick.  And if you're on the hunt for such a shade, I definitely think it's worth checking out.
