LA Colors' Art Deco

OK, so this past weekend wasn't exactly the greatest for me.  I dunno.  I just feel like I ran around like a chicken with its head cut off, but got absolutely nothing accomplished.  I found myself in dire need of a quick (and cheap) salve for my mood by Saturday afternoon, so I wandered into The Dollar Store to take a look around.  I really didn't expect to find too much in the realm of "mood boosting" while perusing their aisles, but did lay eyes on some nail polishes that seemed interesting.  So interesting, in fact, that I bought three of them.  They're the Art Deco line from LA Colors and, if you have a moment, I'd love to share them with you.

The Art Deco line from LA Colors basically caters to those who wish to dabble in nail art and create their own designs.  The narrow bottles are equipped with an equally narrow brush to help facilitate such endeavors, including the crafting of intricate patterns and artwork.  I decided to go with some basic shades this first go 'round, so I picked White, Black and a glittery eye-catcher called Ice Breaker.

Ice Breaker is a clear polish chock full of small and chunky, silver glitter.  This one is truly the Diana Ross of the threesome and I can't wait to incorporate it into some designs on both my hands and feet.  Very pretty, don't you think?

And so I guess I can kinda say that this weekend wasn't a complete and total bust with the purchase of these Art Deco polishes, but the jury is still in recess regarding their performance as I have yet to actually try any of these out and put them to use.  But I plan on doing that soon... Real soon.  I'm also researching some new designs to add to my repertoire so I don't bore y'all with the same flower print I'm prone to recycling.  I mean, my flower motif is my summer signature, but I'll expand.  I definitely will.

And when I do, I'll be sure to put my new nail design (as well as my updated thoughts on the polish) right here on front street for you all to review!

LA Colors Art Deco nail polishes are available at various beauty supply stores and The Dollar Store, where they retail for $1.
