A Little Dulce for Dolce

As summer starts to fade away, the visual frenzy of bright colors tend to be replaced by ones that are darker, earthier, and/or more subdued.  Well, for those that are compelled to follow such seasonal dictates, I have a wonderful polish I'd like to share with you.  Neutrals are an excellent segue from season to season as they have no allegiance to any specific time of the year.  And this one just happens to be considered a classic.  It's a natty nail lacquer from OPI called Dulce de Leche.

Dulce de Leche is a peachy, flesh-toned nude with a high-gloss finish.  It's a creamy polish that applied a bit streaky at first, but ultimately settled in nicely on my nails by the third coat.  And with those three coats I was able to achieve a satisfying level of opaqueness and a bubble-free finish.

What I like about this polish is that it's not sheer and it works well across many skin tones.  It hints a note of class as well; a simple, but rich looking nude that can be rocked across a wide variety of occasions.  And with the amount of versatility effortlessly embodied in such a flattering shade of neutral, is there any wonder why it's reached classic status?  Dulce de Leche is a sweet little indulgence for the nails, indeed!

OPI Dulce de Leche is available at Ulta and drugstore.com, and retails for $9.
